4. want 需要;想要

want为动词,遇到第三人称奇数时,要在其结束加-s。其用法如下:

5. potato与tomato的用法

potato和tomato构成复数时,都是在词尾加-es,即potatoes和tomatoes。如:

these are potatoes, and those are tomatoes.

这些是马铃薯,那些是西红柿。

英语中以o结束的名词,在构成复数时,一般指无生命的事物在词尾加-s,有生命的在词尾加-es。如:hero, negro等加-线上一对一英语辅导哪家好es;而photo, piano等加-s。

6. good与well

(1)good是描述词,用作表语和定语。它可以标明戏曲、影片、书本等这类东西的内容好,也标明人品好、人的仁慈或对其别人的和蔼、亲热。如:

②she is a good student. 她是个好学生。

(2)well是描述词和副词。作描述词时只作表语,指处于满足的状况或指身体安康情况杰出;作副词常常用来润饰动词。如:

①i am quite well today. 我今日身体极好。

②kate doesn’t sing well, but she dances well.

句法精析

1. how about burgers?汉堡包怎么样?

how about...?一般用于提出主张,这今后可跟名词或动名词,意为“……怎么样”,其答复可所以that sounds good./great./that’s a good idea.。

【延伸】how about...?=what about...?。如:

②how/what about some fruit for dinner?

2. let’s have... 让咱们吃/喝……吧。

have是多义词,有以下几种用法:

(1)意为“有;具有”。如:

i have a new watch. 我有一块菜鸟表。

(2)意为“吃;喝”。如:

let’s have milk and some bread.

(3)构成固定短语。如:

2)一般疑问句以及答复:

①—do you like...?

—yes, i do./no, i don’t.

②—do they like...?

2. 可数名词和不可以数名词

可数名词有奇数和复数两种方法。名词变复数有规则和不规则两种改变。

(1)规则改变

1)一般在奇数名词后加-s,如:dogs, cups, desks。

2)以s,x,ch,sh结束的名词加-es,如:watches, boxes, classes, glasses, buses。

3)以子音字母加y结束的名词,变y为i加-es,如:libraries, dictionaries, families, strawberries。

请差异:假定是元音字母加y结束的名词,则只须加-s,如:boys。

4)以o结束的名词,一般直接加-s,如:photos, radios, zoos, pianos;大学期间只需potato(马铃薯), tomato(西红柿), hero(英豪)这三个词加-es。

5)以f,fe结束的名词,变f,fe为v再加-es, 如:knife—knives, wife—wives, half—halves, leaf—leaves。

(2)不规则改变

1)将oo变为ee,如:tooth—teeth, foot—feet。

2)将man变为men,如:man—men, woman—women, policeman—policemen, frenchman—frenchmen。

请留心:german(德国人) —germans。

3)其他改变,如:child—children, mouse—mice。

(3)单复数方法相同的词

大学期间学过的单复数同形的名词首要有:sheep—sheep, chinese—chinese等。

(4)常以复数方法呈现的名词
