成人学英语的原因

在美国的社区英语培训班里，老师在第一节课会问我们一个问题：你为什么学英语？Why are you learning English?

我的回答是：I want to meet more new friends。

的确，在美国生活的几个月，你会不会讲英语，其实不影响你的正常生活，但若是你能更好地融入到社区里，想认识更的朋友，了解更多的当地文化，你还是需要会些简单的英语的。
