英语口语复试指南：遇到不会表达的单词怎么办？ 林晨陪你考研
MBA复试/提前面试中，英语口语作为门槛项，备受广大院校考试青睐。广东地区MBA国际项目较多，对英语的要求较高，全英文面试更是全日制国际MBA院校选拔人才的必考项。
在我们用英语回答问题的时候，有时会紧张得忘词，这个时候如果你一味地支吾、犹豫，只会让自己更加紧张，而且也会让考官觉得你准备不当。那如何可以优雅自然地度过这个尴尬的留白段呢？其实你可以直接用
英语向面试官表达你忘词的感受，然后采用过渡句将忘掉的词变成同义句。
以下几个phrase，建议大家收藏并用起来 ！
过渡句一：What’s the word for it? Well, let me just say+从句
例如：
I have worked together with my partner for 3 years, and we have a lot of (默契).
这个时候如果你想不起来“默契”这个词的英文，你就可以利用过渡句，把它翻译成同义从句：
例如：
I have worked together with my partner for 3 years, and we have a lot of (默契)…um.…..What’s the word for it? Well, let me say we can read each other’s mind!
注意：说过渡句的时候要尽量自然些
过渡句二：This word is on the tip of my togue, but let me just say that + 从句
这句表达的是：想说的词就在你的舌尖了，但是你却一下子忘记了或者你不确定它的发音，那么你就可以用这个过渡句帮你度过。
例如：
I have worked together with 
my partner for 3 years, and we have a lot of (默契)…..um…this word is on the tip of my togue, but let me just say that we can read each other’s mind.
过渡句三：Well , How shall I put it? I guess +从句
例如：
I have worked together with my partner for 3 years, and we have a lot 
of (默契)……well, how shall I put it? I guess we can really understand each other very well.
过渡句四：How to say ? Well, let me just say that +从句
相比前三句，这句比较好记、易懂，比较适合大多数同学使用，如果考场上想不起来词，其实直接用“How to say”句型直接过渡到同义句，也是能让考官明白的。
例如：
I have worked together with my partner for 3 years, and we have a lot of (默契)…um…How to say? Well, 
let me just say that we can really understand each other.
