不知道为什么,看到雅思口语里visitor和an occasion when you had to be polite,我的脑海里就直接闪现出了“亲戚带着熊孩子来我家串门”场景。polite是基本的礼节,但是想掐死visitor的心,真是控制不住的……

还是老规矩,这两个题目开头段要分别扣题,如果是polite话题,我们开头就直说需要对谁有礼貌,例如:

This topic reminds me of the time I had to be polite to my aunt and her daughter.

如果是visitor,也直说这位visitor的身份即可,例如:

I’d like to talk about my aunt, who’s actually a remote cousin of my father’s.

之后就开始时间地点叙事吧:

Last winter, she took a trip to my hometown with her daughter, you know, to go skiing, ‘cause my hometown has the largest ski resort in the country.

In order to show our hospitality, my father invited them to stay in our home instead of the hotel, but he didn’t know, that was the beginning of a disaster for me.

Here’s what happened.

Her daughter was really naughty and annoying, I mean, she’s like one of those spoiled brats who are always running around in the house and yelling. The first day they arrived, she just damaged my rocket model that I spent months building. When I saw the pieces on the floor, I was heartbroken, but I didn’t say anything, ‘cause I thought she didn’t do it on purpose. But what happened next really made me furious. She took my hourglass off the bookshelf, and I saw her just drop it on the floor really hard, and the minute the hourglass broke into pieces, she started to laugh. I stormed into the room, and I yelled at her, I was like, what are you doing? My aunt started to defend her, saying, she’s just a little girl, don’t blame her. I was speechless, at that moment, I literally wanted to kill her, but… well, after all, she was our guest, and my senior, so I had to pretend to be polite even though they were so out of line.

除了上面令人发指的情节,你还可以加入自己的亲身经历啊,例如爸妈总是把自己心爱的东西送给熊孩子这个情节,就能跟考官抱怨半天。好,那么就请说出你的故事,开始你的表演吧!加油!
