英语口语面试是多数考生比较紧张的环节，但实际上，考生要明确三个观念：
除了个别名校的全球项目外，考生英语口语在整个面试中的分值比重不大，一般不超过 15%，不会对录取结果产生决定性的影响。对于普通的中文MBA项目，在总体占比上很小，各环节的重要程度还是：申请材料>个人综合素质面试>小组面试及其他。
院校老师会考虑到大多数考生的英语实际应用水平，提问的问题比较简单，一般只提问第一个层次（基础层次）的问题，比如自我介绍、兴趣爱好、描述家乡、报考理由。
只有对那些有海外工作学习经验或展现出较好语言能力的学生，如已经在材料里面展现了较强的英语水平，面试老师才有可能会提问到第二个层次的问题，进一步追问企业情况、岗位职责等稍微专业一点的问题。
