Sleep through_睡得非常沉,完全听不到任何声音

We can

say, don’t sleep through your English class.

This means don’t sleep too late, or sleep through your alarm clock

going off.

Some people are heavy sleepers, and they can sleep through anything, even a thunderstorm or other loud noises

有些人睡得特别沉以至于完全没有听到任何声音，甚至打雷也听不到。

For example:

I never heard the storm last night. I must have slept through it

昨晚我都没有听到下暴风雨，我一定是睡得很沉。

Sleep like a dog_形容睡得特别好，而不被任何噪音吵醒

to sleep very well, without being woken by any noises:

for example:

I slept like a log – I didn't evenhear the thunderstorm.

我睡得很好，甚至没有听到任何雷雨声。
