“涨价”用英语怎么说？
rise in price
在英语里，外国人一般用“ rise in price”表示“涨价”，而不是“price up” 这个比较“中式化”的说法。尽管二者意思差不多，但“price up” 更侧重于传达“抬高物件”的意思。此外还可以用 increase和 go up表示上涨。
go up (价格、数量或水平)上涨，上升
price rise 物价上升
rise in price 价格上涨
例：
Experts told citizens that a rise in vegetable prices is coming.
专家告诉市民，蔬菜的价格马上要涨。
inflation of prices
“inflation of prices” 在英文中有“物价上涨”的意思。

其中，“inflation”是通
货膨胀的意思，“inflation of prices” 可以表示物价上涨的意思。“soar”的意思是急升和猛增。“hike”我们比较熟悉它“徒步远足”的意思，当与价格搭配时也指价格像登山一样是往上走的趋势，也是外国人抱怨物价飞涨时常说的表达。

“price”，除了价格，还有物价的意思，“the prices are rising”和“the prices are going up”都可以表达物价持续上涨。

需要注意区分oil和汽油、柴油：
oil 的意思不是车用燃油，而是“石油、食用油、润滑”等，作为动词，指的是“给...加润滑油”。如果你给汽车加了oil其实就是加了润滑油，并不是燃油。就比如，
He oiled his bike and pumped up the tyres.
他给自己的自行车上了油, 给轮胎充了气。
而车子烧的汽油是“ petrol（英式）、gasoline（美式）、gas（美式） ”。
表达给车往油箱里“加油”的“加”，
不能用“add”，大家可以参考以下用法。
例：
If we're going to drive there, I'll need to fill up the tank.
如果我们要开车去的话，我就得给车加满油。
I fill up my car about once a week.

I need to go the gas station.
